CPTAP 2026 - Results Announced - What Happens Next?

PTPTs must be enrolled on and have started the apprenticeship programme between July 2026 and 30 September 2026.

Employers who have accepted their CPTAP funding offer with NHS England can now begin workforce planning, whether that means upskilling existing staff members or recruiting new talent ahead of the programme start dates.

If your application was unsuccessful this year, there are still opportunities to recruit and train a Pharmacy Technician apprentice.

Skills4Pharmacy can help employers explore alternative funding routes, including levy transfer opportunities and available employer incentives. We can also support workforce planning and apprenticeship readiness to help your pharmacy continue investing in its future workforce.
